Japan rail pass on Shinkansen

Can I use the Japan rail pass on the Shinkansen route between Shinagawa and Mishima stations, I have been trying to work it out on the web site and it mentions that it isn't valid on the Nozomi trains. Is this the train that runs between these two stations or is there another train I could use. Thanks for any help offered.

Yes, you can take kodama or hikari trains along the Tokaido Shinkansen between Shinagawa and Mishima. Nozomi trains do not stop at Mishima, anyways.
