Advise on Travel Arrangements

Dear All,

I will be visit Tokyo, Hakone,Osaka and Kyoto from 04 - 15 Oct with my husband and needs advice on the most economical travel arrangements:-

My tentative itinerary:

04Oct : ArrTokyo
05Oct : Tokyo
06Oct : Tokyo/Hakone
07Oct : Hakone
08Oct : Hakone/Osaka
09Oct : Osaka - Universal Studio
10Oct : Day trip to Kyoto 11Oct : Day trip to Kobe / Nara Park
12Oct : Osaka - Shopping
13Oct : Osaka/Tokyo
14Oct : Tokyo - Visit Gold fish farms
15Oct : Dep Tokyo

In view of the above, pls adv if I need to buy the 7 Days JR Pass or separate train tickets and the best way to travel.

The 7 day pass will cost about the same as regular shinkansen tickets. I recommend to use the pass.

Hi,

If I use the JR 7day Pass starting on 06Oct, I will have to depart Osaka / Tokyo on 12 Oct instead of 13 Oct.

Pls adv if I should shorten my stay in Hakone to 1night instead or buy another train ticket from Tokyo to Hakone and start the JR Pass on 08Oct instead. I was also thinking of buying the Hakone Pass.

What is time schedule from Hakone to Osaka and which train station will it stopped at.
