Mugame to Nagoya

We need to go from Mugame to Nagoya (18th Oct) and have found that the best way seems to be to get a bus to Nakatsugawa and then a train. Is this true?
I have found the train timetable easily enough but can't find anything in English about buses - can anyone tell me how many buses there are, how long they take and when they go - or just direct me to a website in English please.
