Reservation Sapporo Hotels

I have an reservation confirmation from Marks Inn Sapporo. They did not ask me for my Credit Card as a form of deposit. Is the confirmation in order. Has anyone stayed there before.

It is quite normal for Japanese hotels not to ask for credit card information. Other chains do ask, others do not.

When making reservations that is.

But depends on each chain.

In Japan, hotels and ryokan generally still trust their guests to honor their reservations by usually asking for little more than name and phone number.
