Advice - Travel from Kyoto to Tokyo 2008/10/1 20:24
Hi,

I am entering Japan via Kansai and staying in Kyoto before moving onto Tokyo. I have to get to The Prince Park Tower which is near Hamamatsucho Station and Onarimon subway station.

1)
I assume the bullet train only stops at Tokyo station and then I have to get to Hamamatsucho Station from there?
With luggage subway won't be possible.

2)
Will it be easy to carry my luggage on the bullet train or better to have it transferred?

Is there enough space for large luggage on the JR trains?

thanks

It also stops at Shinagawa Station. It would be better to get off at Shinagawa and take a taxi from there. The Prince Park Tower is inconvenient for access by public transportation.

Is there enough space for large luggage on the JR trains?..

It is explained here:
