No Hotels Available in Kyoto

Hello, I will be in Kyoto in about a week and cannot find a place to stay! We had originally been looking for a ryokan but had no luck and now not even a hotel!
Have any suggestions?? I've looked everywhere online and contacted a travel agent and still no luck!

There are lots of vacancies except on the Saturday and Sunday of the long weekend (October 11-12). You should be able to find rooms on any day except the above mentioned nights. On the weekend, consider to visit another place or stay in and "commute" from a nearby place, such as Osaka on that weekend.
