Cel Phone Rental in Japan

First off, thanks so much for all your help so far with all of my travel questions (taking trains throughout Japan, etc).
I am thinking about renting a cel phone while I am there for 2 weeks. Last time I rented one at Tokyo Station from (at the time) J-Phone. Yeah, it's been awhile.
Aside from Rentafone, would anyone recommend other inexpensive phone rental places either at Narita or in one of the JR stations? Tokyo is preferred since I will get there first before venturing around.
Thanks! Decker

I've read that high chance foreign cell phones can't work in Japan. But my friend who went last yr said her phone was working fine. My network operator told me as long as it's a 3G phone then it'll be no problem in Japan.

Thanks. The JAL ABC one looks to be alright. And no I don't plan on using my own cel phone in Japan. I've never brought one over and my models have never been compatible anyway :)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think if you fly by ANA, they have this free cell phone rental deal.
