Hi,
We are arriving in Tokyo Jan 5th 2009. Can anyone tell me what day school holidays end after New Year? Do you think transport from Narita will still be crazy on the afternoon of the 5th?

The 5th is the first day of school/work for most people. January 4th will see the worst traffic. January 5th should be much calmer.
