Travelling around Tokyo/Yokohama/Saitama 2008/10/7 20:11
Hey guys,

Would Suica/ NEX be a good pass to get in this case?

Will be planning to use JR/Tokyo Metro and Toei line to get around Tokyo.

Will be based in Hamamatsucho.

None can answer your question for sure, because it depends on how many days/months you will stay in Tokyo, how far you will travel from Tokyo(I mean interregional trips) for how many days, how often you will use the train/subway.

BUT judging from your posts, SUICA will be the best option for you.

Suica is perfect for trips in the immediate area regardless of how long you stay there. Even if you were only there for a couple of days it would save you a lot of time trying to figure out which fare to purchase for each individual journey. And I still want to know if you were a train driver in Victoria Oz. Can't be too many SO's out there.

Will be in Tokyo for one week, will be travelling to Shin-Yokohama for the Club World Cup, to Saitama to see the stadium, and of course around central Tokyo to see the sights!

Rod- sorry mate, am actually a journalist.
