Fastest way from NGO to...

I'll be travelling to Japan, and would like suggestions on the fastest way to get from Nagoya (NGO) airport to Tokyo Inn (Higashi-Hiroshima Saijo Ekimae). Note: I am not experienced with Japan public transportation. Thanks.

1) Take the airport train from the airport to Nagoya Station (30 minutes)

2) Take the Tokaido/Sanyo Shinkansen from Nagoya to Hiroshima Station (2.5 hours)

A train from Hiroshima to Saijo. They are very frequent and take and take around 35' to get to Saijo. They run off either platform 5 or 7. Just ask staff, they will help.

I stayed at that Toyoko-inn becasue we couldn't get one in Hiroshima (we phoned various Toyoko inn right after landing in kansai airport)and liked the town of Saijo as they have some very interesting big houses with beautiful tiled roofs. The whole train ride Hiroshima-Saijo is quite pleasant, compared to many commuter routes both in North America and Japan. That inn is across a small square from the JR station and there is a convenience store by the station.
