Hi there, I am planning a train trip from Sendai to Sapporo in Jan next year. I cannot find any tran route from Sendai to Sapporo directly. Please advise. Many thanks!!!!

The only direct trains are night trains: The Hokutosei night train operates daily as follows: 23:30 Sendai 11:15 Sapporo The Cassiopeia night train operates roughly every second day as follows (no operation outside some low season periods): 20:59 Sendai 09:32 Sapporo By daytime trains, the trip is done by Tohoku Shinkansen and limited express trains with transfers at Hachinohe and Hakodate: http://www.jorudan.co.jp/english/norikae/
