im going to hokkaido late april I have about 1k AUD (66.000 JPY) to spend on accomidation & food
can anyone recommend some really cheap ryokans and places to eat.. preferably close to the japan rail

Sorry, it will be our first time visiting japan ill explain in detail our plan so far
I am 18 and traveling with 2 friends 19 21
we are doing a group tour from osaka to tokyo between april 12 - 24
Then we wish to spend april 25 - 1st may in Hokkaido
staying in a cheap ryokan lazing about in the hotsprings and checking out the snow
we where looking around asahikawa, would this be a good place to check out some snow?
