where can I practice Kyudo in Tokyo? 2008/11/11 19:25
I've just arrived in Tokyo a few weeks ago and since I have practiced archery before I am interested in learning Kyudo. I have looked online but can't find a place where I can learn it in Tokyo. Does anybody know? thanks!

Kyudo in Tokyo 2009/1/31 22:54
Hi! I'm practicing kyudo too in Osaka and had a bit of trouble trying to find places to practice, too. :)

But did a search, and found this for you in Tokyo:

Koto-ku Kyudo Assocation

Looks like the closest station is Monzen-nakacho.

Good luck!

Shinjuku sports center 2009/2/15 12:57
At the Shinjuku Cosmic Sports Center (located at ''Nishi-Waseda'' stop on the Fukutoshin line, close to Takadanobaba) they have beginner classes a few times each year. I have just joined such a class myself a few weeks ago, so probably they do not start a new class until autumn. Anyway, they might be able to assist you and find other places. If you speak japanese, it should not be so difficult to find a place. If not, you might have to look a bit further (or practice hard ;-).
