Visiting Tokyo around 28-30 Nov. Anyone knows any spots for koyo (maple leaves)?

Konnichiwa,
I would advise Mt. Takao, about 1hour train ride from Shinjuku.

Mt. Takao is designated quasi-national park and you can enjoy beautiful Koyo from mid November to early December.

Take Keio line from Shinjuku station.

I hope you enjoy your stay in Japan.

Most of Tokyo's gardens and parks have autumn colors. I found Rikugien particularly beautiful:

Tokyo autumn color spots are also listed here:

And tomorrow, a Tokyo autumn color report will be posted here:

Shinjuku Gyoen 2008/11/26 16:54
If you stay near
Shinjuku, I would like to recommend Shinjuku-Gyoen.
Here is English site.
