I've tried booking hotels for the 3rd Jan 2009. But most of them reply me that its nt available. Thus i m worried its not open in hakone.
Is there avaliable hotel ???

Hakone is a municipality in the mountains of Kanagawa Prefecture. It does not get closed.
January 3 will be very busy due to the New Year holidays. Many hotels and ryokan might be booked out.

I agree with Uji, you are finding no availability not because Hakone is closed, but because that is peak travel season and most hotels will have been booked out for quite a while. Late November is usually too late to be booking accommodation for New Year in Japan.
