Snow and Cherry blossoms happen during different seasons although it is possible to see them on the same trip to Japan if you are willing to travel. Cherry blossoms are typically best at the most popular viewing spots (in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka) at the end of March/beginning of April. At that time you can still find snow around major ski areas (Nagano, Niigata, Tohoku, Hokkaido).
