Asakusabashi to Asakusa 2008/12/7 12:33
Hi, i will be staying in a hotel in asakusabashi and i'm planning to go to asakusa in the morning. What is the easiest (and if possible cheapest) way to get there? Also, just to note that I have a JR pass.

Thanks for all your help

Take subway Asakusa Line--one station, 2 minutes. It's the only direct line between the 2 stations and the JR Pass does not cover this ride.

just to add, the fare between the two stations is 170 yen.

wouldn't walking be the easiest and cheapest way? might even be faster what with buying tickets, going down to the subway, waiting for it, riding it, going back up to the streets level...

In Tokyo, subways come every 1-5 minutes, so walking is not faster since the distance between the 2 stations are about 1.5 kilometers. It'll be a good 20 minute walk.
