does anyone know where i can find an indian or thai food shops around the osaka area?
japanese food is great but i miss the tastes from home :)

I don't know about shops, but my 2 favorite restaurants (Indian and Thai) are in the same building in Dotombori. Maybe they could help, but try the food too.

Sweet Basil in Fukushima (near Umeda) is great Thai. Try Kohinoor in Osaka Herbis Bld.
