Booking a tour after arriving in Japan

I would like to book a tour after arriving in Japan, either from Osaka or Tokio.
Does anyone have experience with a touroperator in one of those cities? Any advice would be appreciated.

When you check in at your hotel, ask the people at the front desk. They'll tell you how to arrange it. Probably a bus tour in English with Hato or some other bus company. In Tokyo, you could check out Metropolis magazine for more info.
