does anybody know where i can find a place that has bubble tea (also called boba tea) in tokyo? i've heard there are some in shibuya, but i don't know exactly where...

There is one near the east exit of Shinjuku station. You have to turn right out of the east exit, and it is between the entrances to Zara and Benetton in the building across the road.

There's one place that sells it in the sunshine 60 building in Ikebukuro. It's either in B1 or B2.

I had a hard time finding it in Japan as well, as it doesn't seem to be as popular in Japan (not sure why). But, there's an online store that will ship it to you in Japan (you have to email them for rates since their website doesn't allow you to enter a Japanese shipping address). I was able to find a huge selection and get everything I wanted from http://www.bobateadirect.com

I have seen it in Osaka in Amemura not far from triangle park and also at namba walk not far from the midosugi.

thanks for all the help guys! i actually ended up finding it when i went to odaiba (no wonder, because of all the chinese culture there), but now i have lots of options :)
