Going to Tokyo end of March to view sakura, if we are getting 7days JP pass,any ideas which others places out of tokyo that can see sakura during 28Mar to 6 Apr.

I was in Kyoto 1 April 08 and the cherry blossom was looking great.
Another place will be the Izu penisula. I will be going Izu same time as yours in 09.

Normally late March to early April is cherry blossom season in the Kansai area. Consider Himeji Castle (will undergo restoration in 2010), Philosopher's Walk in Kyoto, riverbank near Mint Museum in Osaka, the hillside walk from Nigatsu-do to Kasuga Taisha in Nara, and Yoshino Mt. (private rail link from Osaka on which JR rail pass is not valid).
