Kamakura - Bike Hire

I recall a thread, maybe from a couple of years ago when I first though about visiting Kamakura, about an easy, convenient place to hire bikes to travel around Kamakura. I can't find the thread now.
From memory, it said something like, on exiting Kamakura (?) station, head left to the police station and the bike hire place is near by.
Can anyone confirm or clarify?

I don't remember the thread but I found a new shop near JR Kamakura station. Renta Cycle Kamakura-nishiguchi (near West Gate of Kamakura station) http://blackholeshow.iza-yoi.net/All bikes are battery-assisted cars. 600 yen/hour but maximum fee for a day is 2600 yen. Passport is necessary.
