Drop off charges for car in Hokkaido

Thanks for your helpful reply.
Do you or anyone know the drop-off charges for car rental - pick up at Asahikawa airport and return at Hakodate/New Chitose airport.
If charges are too high, maybe it is better to enter and exit Hokkaido through Chitose and use Sapporo as a base. Is this a good option?
