Photo of Mt Fuji

Where is the best place to get a photo of Mt Fuji in winter?

In winter the sun is more south in the sky and so in the northern areas the light is not as good on the mountain. It's still beautiful though.

you can take nice one from the top of Takaosan.. see this site for Takaosan. Not far - it's actually inside tokyo.

Or you just might get lucky

a shot I took at 270km/h :-) on this page.....which for some reason doesn't seem to want to open at the moment.

I also managed to get some great photos from to shinkansen, I was lucky enough to go past on a cloud free day.
