I got accepted with INTERAC and wanted to know what i NEED to bring from Jamaica with me. Things like my laptop, cell-phone, etc.
I'm not sure where i'll be placed yet, but, i want to start prepare NOW. thanks

It is unlikely that your phone will work in Japan. Whether you need your laptop is something only you can decide.

japan is one of the most technologically advanced countries, so u can expect to find anything u could desire here. phone most likely wont be compatible. bring ur computer and anything else u need on a normal basis.
dont forget some warm clothes! its currently 7 degrees Celcius, (44 fahrenheit). quite a change from jamaica i imagine. oh and they dont believe in central heating so that makes things worse.
