We will visit Japan in March.
But we are searching for more information about a trip to Japan.

I have heard from a Hakone free pass and i have some questions about it.

is the Hakone free pass only in Hakone region valid ?
Where can i travel with the JP Rail pass?

I assume you refer to the Japan Rail Pass. You can use JR trains nationwide, as explained here:

You cannot use the JR rail pass within Hakone area. Use the rail pass to take JR to Odawara and buy 3900 yen Hakone Free Pass there. The Hakone Free Pass will cater for all kinds of transport within the Hakone area. After you have done the loop course, you can go back to Odawara and use the JR rail pass for your onward journey to other parts of Japan.

You can use your Japan Rail Pass to get to Hakone (as far as Odawara Station), but not to get around Hakone. More details are here:

I'm also going to hakone on this Apirl and still get some questions to ask: I plan for buying Hakone free pass and will book for hotel to stay for one night..but I found free plan hakone which include round train and hotel, so what is the difference? and how can I make a reservation??
