Work in Japan with US Degree? 2009/2/6 09:10
I was wondering if it is terribly difficult to get work in Japan with an American degree?
I'm currently trying to decide between attending Sophia's FLA or TUJ, and it's coming down to whether or not I could get work after college with an American degree, or if I'd need to have graduated from a Japanese school (ie Sophia) to get a decent job. If anyone could help with this, I'd be very grateful.
Thanks much,

What do you consider to be a decent job? What kind of work are you hoping to get? For visa purposes, it doesn't matter where the degree is from as long as it is an accredited university.

Depending on the field you want to work in, a Japanese degree may offer advantages, or it may be irrelevant.
