Bus from Matsumoto to Ryokan

I have to get to the "Matsutake-sansou ryoukan" from Matsumoto.

A friend provided me with this link, but can't help with public transport:

I found that I could get to Tazawa Station on the Shinonoi line but don't know from there.

Is there a bus from Matsumoto or Tazawa?
Do I have to take a taxi? (Is it available in Tazawa?)

The ryokan's website recommends to take the bus ("Shiga Line") from Matsumoto Station and get off at 化石館 (Kasekikan) bus stop. If you phone the ryokan in advance, they will pick you up from the bus stop.

松本駅 refers to Matsumoto Station.

On the timetable, the columns with the 平日 header refer to the weekday timetable. The 土休日 columns to the weekend timetable.
