Subway or taxi ride to Tsukiji auction

We are planning to visit Tsukiji market auction in April. Since the auction starts at 5am, is it possible to take the subway system early morning from Hiroo station to Tsukiji. If not, what is the approx. taxi fare from New Sanno Hotel to Tsukiji.

The subway starts operating at 5am. You, if you want to be at the market by 5am, you would have to take a taxi or walk (about 1.5 to 2 hours).

Unless things have changed, the Tsukiji market auction has been closed off for a bit now for tourists.
