Cheap Accomodation in Osaka

Hi all, I'm not sure whether this post got before - so here we go again.....
I'm going to be staying in Osaka for three months studying Jujutsu from April onwards.
I'm looking for cheap accommodation and the research I've done looks like renting a room in a Gaijin House is going to be the best option. The Dojos Ifm going to be training in are located in Minou, Ashia, Minosuko and Tennoji.
Advice for decent places to stay would be much appreciated. Ifm looking for somewhere with a good crowd, proximity to good nightlife and transport links.
Many thanks in advance.

for three months a gaijin house is really the best option you can do. but your dojos are quite far away from each other, so I would stay in osaka/umeda, because there are coming nearly all railway-companies together. in fukushima (1 station away from osaka station) is a good gaijin-house named j-hoppers. ok ok...its more a youth hostel, but convenient. check it out! http://osaka.j-hoppers.com/index.html
