i am planning to visit Karuizawa in Mid March, Q1) when will the snow season end, will I still be able to ski in Karuizawa in mid March ? Q2) There are several Prince hotels in Kaurizawa, are they all in the area near the ski course and the shopping centre ?

Chu,
I can't answer your first question, although you should note that that area does not get that much snow, so the ski slopes are mostly artificially supplemented.
The Prince hotels are at the foot of the ski slopes (that's what they are there for), and they and the shopping area are all within walking distance from the station.

The Karuizawa Prince Ski resort page can be found here:

www.snowjapan.com lists their season as typically running from early November through early April so you will probably be okay in March.
