need suggestion on tazawako region

I'm planning a trip to Tazawako Lake.

Here's the itinery:

24-4-09, stay one night at Tsurunoyu Onsen
25-4-09, travel to Tazawako lake in the morning by bus.
Then Kakunodate for cherry blossom.
Is it too rush to visit 2 location in one day?

Depends on your preferred pace of travel and how much you want to see. If you want to see it in detail, i.e. go around the entire lake (there is not much to see) and see many sights in Kakunodate, I recommend to allocate more time. But if a quick look at the lake and a short tour of Kakunodate is enough, it can be done within one day.

unfortunately, i didn't manage to get a room in Tsurunoyu onsen, so might have to redo my schedule.I have purchase 10-day Jr east pass. too many places to see and too little time.....sigh..
