Hi,
I'm planning to get from Matsumoto to Mt Fuji area. Probably around 16-18.4.
Are there much diffrent between Fuji 5 lakes area and Hakone?
I'm thinking to visit both. if i had to choose one from the two, which would be it?
I can buy the Hakone free-pass around Hakone, right? and it will not be good for Fuji 5 lakes right?
How easy or far is Fuji 5 lakes from Hakone?

Are there much diffrent between Fuji 5 lakes area and Hakone?They are relatively similar in that they both have lakes, views of Mount Fuji, hot springs and lots of touristy museums. I'm thinking to visit both. if i had to choose one from the two, which would be it?If the views of the mountain are most important to you, I recommend the Fuji Five Lakes. Otherwise, I recommend Hakone. I can buy the Hakone free-pass around Hakone, right? and it will not be good for Fuji 5 lakes right?Right.
