that gI have learnt a little Japanese from a bookh?
Ifm especially interested in the efromf bit and whether Ifd say elearntf, etaught myselff or just estudiedf.

this is ''studied''.
honde would be ''using a book''. If you want to insist your japanese is FROM a book i guess you can use ''honkara''.

I did consider kara but it did sound a bit too literal. Hon de certainly makes sense to me. Thanks again.
