I am planning for a trip to view Mt Fuji. Is it worth spending the time to the 5th station or is it better to ride the retro bus at Kawaguchiko to see more attractions?

Mt Fuji from the 5th Station looks so close and big in front of you that you have to look almost straight up at about 60-70 degrees to see the summit. You are on the mountain rather than looking at the mountain.
In my opinion the views from the 5 lakes, Hakone or even from Shizuoka are more majestic.
However, going up the 5th then taking a hike up a little is still a great experience.
