local/express train vs Romance Car

i would like to check what is the difference between taking the local or express train and Romance Car Limited express train to Hakone.
Can local/express train reserve seats?what is the journey difference between local/express train vs Romance Car Limited Express Train?

In regards to Odakyu Trains.
The difference is on local/express trains you CANNOT reserve seats. Also the seats on the local/express trains are your regular style "commuter style" seating.
Romance Cars have all reserved seating, and more comfortable, forward facing seats.
The Limited Express Romance Cars only stop at major stations, local trains stop at all stations, and express trains skip at some stations but stop at more stations then the limited express.
The Romance Car takes 85 minutes to Hakone, regular trains can take up to 2 hours.
