Limited Express Fee for Shinkansen

If i purchase the regional JR pass n wants to take the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Osaka. do i still have to pay A limited express fee in addition to the base fare?
or is it cover using the JR pass?

None of the regional JR passes is valid on the Tokyo-Osaka route. Only the nationwide Japan Rail Pass.
If you have a Japan Rail Pass, you can ride hikari trains without paying anything additionally. But the pass does not cover nozomi trains.
