I would like to know if staying in hotel and not dormitory will cost me a lot? What are the dormitories conditions - is it too crowded and for teenagers?

What are the dormitories conditions - is it too crowded and for teenagers?No, otherwise, nobody would be using them. It also depends on the dormitory. There are not that many dormitories in Japan. YHI youth hostel dormitories, found in many areas of Japan, cost around 3,000 yen. They are no more crowded than they are in other countries- there are laws regulating that kind of thing here too. University students often stay in youth hostels, so there will be other teenagers.
