Need suggestions on Ryokan in Takayama.

Hi,
First timer to Takayama Festival in October. Would you please suggest a nice ryokan to stay. Perfer the room with its own bathroom and toilet? Budget is under 20,000 per person with meal served. Walking distance to all site-seeing spots and hopefully there're Japanese staying in this Ryokan not just only cater for westerner. Love the local feel.

I stayed recently at Ryokan Seriyu in Takayama. It has pretty much everything you were looking for and is way under your budget. There were Japanese people staying there as well. It isn't family run and has an elevator so maybe not the most traditional...

I would like to recomment Seriyu too. I went there in 2007. It was nice place and the room quite big.
