Time needed to change planes at Narita

I will have 1 hour and 10 Minutes transfer time to change planes at Narita airport.
I will be arriving from New York on ANA and changing to a national flight to Osaka Itami also on ANA. Do I have enough time to clear customs and get my luggage? Or should I get myself booked on a later flight that gives me extra time? Anybody has done the transfer at Narita and knows how much time it takes? Many thanks to all the helpers out there!

Sounds risky to me. It usually takes 30-60 minutes until you pass immigration, get your luggage and pass customs. Furthermore, your incoming flight could be late. And the way to the domestic gate can be time-consuming in case you have to move between terminals.
