JR pass questions

I will be in Japan in June and I am debating on buying a 7-day or 14-day JR pass. I will fly into:
Tokyo - stay there for 2 nights
Kyoto - 2 nights
Hiroshima - 1 nights
Fukuoka - 7 nights
Then back to Tokyo for the flight back home.
From what I gathered it seems to be a better opinion for me but I just wanted to hear any thought?
