kashikiri onsen in Arima for day use? 2009/4/23 06:13
Hi folks,

I am trying to find out if there are kazoku-buro (family) or kashikiri (private) onsen in Arima for day use? My soon to be wife would rather share an onsen with me than other women she doesn't know. It is our honeymoon after all and we hopefully will have just climbed Fuji-san! Thanks

Slightly different, but here's a list of ryokan with private outdoor baths attached to guestrooms:

I've stayed at Setsugekka and it also had the reservable family baths

I think you should check with:

http://www.japaneseguesthouses.com/index.htm#popular

They list hotels that have onsen and hotels that just let you use their onsen, along with location, reviews, pictures, and a reservation service just in case you'd like to stay.
