How far from Kawaguchiko Station is the Itchiku Kubota Kimono Museum? I would like to go there before I start my climb.

You'll love it!!! I went to Kawaguchiko about three months ago...I was absolutely amazed!!! Make sure that you have a cup of matcha in the main hall and watch the video presentation as well. There are some great gardens and walking paths...It's great!!! Have a great time!!!
