Norroko train from Asahikawa

Could anyone please provide any information about Norroko train . Will JR pass valid for the trip from Asahikawa to Biei to Furano with this train?

It is spelled Norokko. It is fully covered by the Japan Rail Pass and Hokkaido Rail Pass.

When using the above, type in shiretokoshari for Shiretoko Shari station, no spacing in between.

I got it now. Do you know a link for car hire company in Furano area that gives discount for JR pass holder? I read it somewhere, but could not relocate it now.
