Hi all,
May I have some comments and possibly some kind suggestions on my 3 days in Kyoto this coming June.
Day 1 Arrive in Kyoto around lunch time. Visit Honganji Temples, Ni jo Castle
Day 2 Visit Kinkakuji Temple, Ryoanji Temple, Ninaji Temple in the morning Visit Sanjusangendo, Kiyomizu in the afternoon Walk around Gion, Pontocho in the evening
Day 3 Visit Fushima Inari Shrine in the morning then make my way down to Arashimaya
Day 4 Off to Nara
Do you think my schedule is a little too tight? Because I seriously do not know how long is normally needed to sight-see a temple. Are there any must-go places that I have missed out?
I also have very little clues on what I can do in the evenings, do you guys have any suggestions?
Many thanks in advance

Day 2 is packed, but if you start early in the morning and travel at a fast pace, it is possible.
There are a few more must-see places that you will have no time to visit. But that is only natural if you have only 2.5 days

I have done your day 2 itinerary twice (well much the same. Once by self, and a few months ago with the kids. You should be able to do it without a problem ( you may want a little travel fitness) Brendan
