Best snow field near Tokyo?

Hi
I am going to Japan in Febuary and the best snowfield I've found around Tokyo is Shiga Kogen. Are there any better ones or more recommended around Tokyo?

I suppose it depends what you classify as "near" Tokyo!!
Shiga Kogen is around 280km form Tokyo. You can take the Nagano Shinkansen to Nagano, then about an hour by bus. All up, it might take 3.5 hours.
Also in the area within 1 hour of Nagano are Hakuba & Nozawa Onsen.
If you want something quicker, you could go to Kagura which is 75-90 minutes from Tokyo by Joetsu Shinkansen(Echigo Yuzawa, Niigata Prefecture), then 15min by taxi or 25 min by bus.
