Motobu accommodation 2009/6/8 23:49
Hello,

I am coming to Okinawa for 5 days and I want to stay in Motobu and spens my time in the area going to places like minnajima and Iejima and the aquarium.

Can anyone help me find accommodation in Motobu, cheaper is better!

Thank you

Google Earth 2009/6/9 22:29
A new feature on Google Earth shows lodging and dining establishments. In the layers look under Geographic Web_Businesses. All the lodging in the Motobu area appear to have links in Japanese and not all have information other than an address and possibly a phone number. If you click on the icons and the associated links, it will take you to webpages where you may get more info (in Japanese, of course). Try the Google Toolbar translation app. It's not perfect but it gets you in the ballpark.

Good luck.

Here's a link with a listing of hotels on Okinawa. Most are in and around Naha, but if you go about 2/3s of the way down the page you'll see a listing for Nago.

Here's a couple of hotels in Motobu Town:

I also Googled Motobu, Okinawa, Japan lodging and came up with this. Again all in Japanese:

Found a few more 2009/6/10 11:34
This one is located in the middle of downtown Motobu Town. Reasonably priced at 3,500-5,000 yen for a western-style room.

This one is close to the bridge to Sesoko-shima, but is also reasonably priced at 3,000 yen per night (I think).

One last link 2009/6/10 11:50
Here's the link to Motobu Town's website.

I would translate the page at this point and click on the top link on the right side of the map. This is the information page. On the next page, click on Accomatdations.
