If I marry my Japanese boyfriend and move to Japan to live with him on a spouse visa, will I be allowed to study there?

the spouse visa from what i can tell gives you the right to work and goto school, except vote

You can do what you like on a spouse visa, there are no restrictions on (legal) activities. You can do any kind of job, study, not work at all, anything.
