Grape Picking near Tokyo 2009/6/18 20:39
Hi

Can someone pls recommend a fruit farm where I can go for grapes picking?

I will be going in end Aug so it will be the season for grapes.

I found the Mother Farm but that's almost 3hrs away from Shinjuku(or every farm is that far away?) and another one is Seo Kajuen which I not even sure where is the location as the site is in Japanese.

Appreciate all help, thank you.

Hi

Thank you for all the links but seems like all of them are in Japanese which I don't understand. Do you have links in English?

I have a 4yr old son with me, is it recommendable to go for Mother Farms which seems like more activities to do, than going to grape farm for purely grape picking? I am under the assumption that grapes from Mother Farm might not be as tasty as those grown in authentic grape farm? I am not so sure if Mother Farm is just a leisure park, or it does really grows grapes for retail purpose. I am a big fan of Kyoho grapes.

Thank you again!
