Thank you for responding to my first part. Please clarify...We land in Narita at four, so we are out of airport by 7. We want to see Tokyo at night so we need a hotel that will pick us up and take us to the hotel..any suggestions? Then we want to take the Nozomi to Kyoto the next morning then take it back in two days. What is the name of the station in Tokyo we would go to catch that? Can we buy a ticket there for the bullet train? Is there a hotel you can think of that is close by the station? Last Question, can we take the Nozomi from Kyoto to the Narita Airport? Thank You Again

If you land at four, you are very likely to be out of the airport by 6 at the latest.

We want to see Tokyo at night so we need a hotel that will pick us up and take us to the hotel.

The airport is 50 kilometers outside of Tokyo. No Tokyo hotel is going to pick you up from there! Buses do provide direct access to some hotels. Access into Tokyo is explained here:

Then we want to take the Nozomi to Kyoto the next morning then take it back in two days. What is the name of the station in Tokyo we would go to catch that?

Tokyo or Shinagawa Station.

Can we buy a ticket there for the bullet train?

Yes.

Is there a hotel you can think of that is close by the station?

Yes, quite a few. Of many different budget ranges.

Last Question, can we take the Nozomi from Kyoto to the Narita Airport?

No, a transfer is required in Tokyo.

Shinagawa 2009/6/22 08:56
I suggest you stay at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel, if it fits your budget. BUT ask for the rooms on the 28th floor and above..MUCH nicer.
1. Airport limo buses go there
2. right opposite Shinagawa Station: you can book tickets etc right at the booking office just on the left as you come up the escalator from the street level
3. If you are going from Kyoto to Narita change at Shinagawa, not Tokyo: having done both, Shinagawa is MUCH easier, and quicker
4. have you considered a 7 day JR Pass: it would pay off, going to Kyoto and back, although you can't use it on Nozomi trains (Hikari aren't that much slower for that trip) and allow you to use it from Narita to Shinagawa when you arrive, then around Tokyo that night, and back to Narita when you go.
5 Arriving at 4pm you won't be at any hotel much before 7-7.30pm however you do it: checking in takes time too: I'd head to Shibuya from Shinagawa: only a few stops on the JR Yamanote line, and amazing at night.
